Located in the city center and with more than 155 years of history, the property is in the final stages of a complete renovation as part of its transition to the Anantara brand and now offers new contemporary rooms and suites, a complete new Anantara spa and fitness facilities, and an interior garden.

The Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam is located on Dam Square and opposite the Royal Palace, in a leafy square that is the beating heart of Amsterdam’s social scene. The magnificent building dates back to 1856, the year a Polish tailor, Mr. Adolph Wilhelm Krasnapolsky, first opened a cafe on the site. As the cafe grew in popularity, he added rooms for rent and later transformed it into a modern hotel. Today, the property proudly celebrates its history with black-and-white images of the past displayed throughout, and the famous bar, The Tailor, paying homage to Mr. Krasnapolsky’s original craftsmanship.
